Staying Hydrated with SIS Hydro Tablets

I am a huge fan of Science in Sports (SIS) products! I started using SIS Isotonic Gels in 2018 and really love the product and the company. So, when I had a chance to try the new Hydro Tablets, I was pretty excited about it. I was sent non-caffeinated options in both Lemon and Pineapple & Mango flavors as well as the Cola flavored caffeine option. I immediately opened the lemon and popped a tab in 500 ml (17 oz) of water- and it started fizzing-oh no! I am not a huge fan of fizzy electrolyte drinks…the amazing thing? Once the tablet dissolved, it was not fizzy any longer. I put 2 cubes of ice in it, gave it a shake and it was great! Not too lemon-ey at all; the taste is very mild to me. I have tried all of the flavors and they were all pretty good-(Cola is my least favorite, but it’s not the worst flavor I have ever tried either).

It was just starting to get humid here in Kentucky when I received my Hydro Tablets. Coincidentally, lots of people in my running group were talking about appropriate hydration during the heat. It seems people are never sure of the quantity of electrolytes they need or when it is best to take them.

Recommendations for use of Hydro Tablets from Science in Sport:
