Welcome and about BluegrassBAMR

Hi, my name is Stephanie (or Mom depending on who is calling) and I am married to a runner, triathlete, and former hockey player.  I am the mother to 2 (hockey) boys, ages 11 & 13 and also a proud aunt.  “Ella” and “Booker” are my two furbabies (boxer dogs), who also like to run with me as much as possible.

I am a self-proclaimed birth junkie and champion for the midwifery model of care, and very passionate about women’s health. By day, I work in a director role for the oldest nurse-midwifery program in the nation, but by afternoon, I turn into a full-time BAMR.

I have run a variety of distances, even the sprint tri distance! Currently I am training for ultramarathons to the 100K distance. I served as a 2016-2017 #KDFMarathon Ambassador and a Urban Bourbonite for the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon in 2019. I am currently a chapter leader for the MomsRunThisTown/SheRunsThisTown chapter in Louisville, Kentucky.  I became a BibRave Pro in 2018 and a COROS ambassador in 2020 (message me for a referral code!). Most recently, I was selected to be a Michelob Ultra #TeamUltra Endorsed Athlete!
